Gina Trollop, MSSW (LCSW)
As a LCSW, I have been a counselor in Dane and Grant counties since 1984. I am originally from a small town in Grant County and attended UW-Madison to complete my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Early work experiences in Madison, included juvenile justice and medical hospital settings, followed by inpatient mental health.
Since returning to “my roots” in Grant County, I have been part of an outpatient practice providing counseling and psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults, including individual, couples and family therapy.
Areas of specialization include adolescent and adult mental health, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, coping with physical illness, stress management, self esteem building, relationship and parenting issues, grief and loss, crisis management and employee assistance counseling.
Treatment approaches: Cognitive behavioral, psycho-educational, solution-focused, assertiveness training, stress management and supportive psychotherapies.
